On Saturday, May 12, the XXI Envero 2018 Awards were held in the village of Aranda de Duero. With a popular jury formed by 1000 tasters, after tasting 190 wines participants from 84 wineries of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, the winners in the respective categories have been:

The past 2017 has produced an increase in exports of Spanish wine. According to the ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones report, more than 4,000 companies exported wine in 2017, with an increase of 2.1% in the number of companies, and increasing the turnover of their exports + 7.8%.

The evolution of the total area dedicated to the cultivation of the vineyard, in absolute terms, leads to a progressive loss with respect to the total area of crops in Spain.
